Globally providing the best possible engineering services that afford customers a sense of “safety, security and comfort” on a level that meets with their satisfaction

Teratec was established in July 1984 as the servicing arm of Terasaki Electric – a JASDAQ-listed company that leads the world in control technologies for effectively using electric energy. Ever since, we have continuously grown under a motto of providing engineering services that afford customers a sense of “safety, security and comfort” on a level that meets with their satisfaction.

Over the years, we have greatly expanded our scope of activity from our specialty of marine systems to industrial plants, commercial facilities and office buildings, and built ourselves a global network in the process. This has put us in position today to deliver most anywhere around the world our core businesses of “engineering services” with which we maintain the customer’s electrical systems, and “lifecycle services” in which we take a total approach to customer support by providing them preventative maintenance, timely servicing and retrofitting for their equipment and systems.

In recent years, we have taken our mechatronics skills beyond the domain of servicing products made by our parent company Terasaki Electric, to stake a realistic challenge to designing, manufacturing and installing industrial equipment. Moreover, we are addressing air pollution and looking for ways to protect marine environments on the keyword of “SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals”.

We relocated our headquarters in the vicinity of Terasaki Electric Co. in 2017. Along with the move, we are strengthening interdepartmental communications and constructively passing down our engineering skills and know-how to the next generation of our workforce with the goal of posting 7 billion JPY in earnings in Terasaki Group in 2025.

Going forward, we will continue to provide the best possible engineering services that, as dictated by our corporate stance, “begin with the customer” and “maximize the lifetime value” of their electrical plants and systems.

I ask for your continued guidance and support.
