In recent years, marine and industrial electrical plants and systems have been put through environmental changes because of increasing equipment diversity and mixing and matching. To ensure safe, stable and continuous operation of these plants and systems right from the get-go, proper commissioning that makes sure that each piece of equipment and each system has been manufactured, assembled and installed as per specifications and drawings, and can be operated and maintained as intended, is needed. These verifications obtained through the commissioning process constitute an important segment in the lifecycle of the equipment. Teratec’s commissioning services help customers optimize the quality, cost-performance and environmental considerations of their electrical plants and systems across the lifecycle of the equipment.
COMMISSIONING
- Lifecycle Commissioning
- We continuously test the customer’s electrical plants and systems based on their equipment operation plans (from planning to retrofitting, replacement and decommissioning).
- Initial Commissioning
- We test equipment delivered to the customer at the below timing.
Planning phase, installation/adjustment phase, handover, after handover (up to 1 year from the date of handover)
- Continuance Commissioning
- Equipment and systems are tested every so many years after Initial Commissioning.
- Retrofit Commissioning
- We test products before and after retrofitting or replacement as per the customer’s wishes.
SUPERVISING
- Technical Guidance for Customer-Managed Checks and Maintenance
- We provide customers with detailed technical guidance that enables them to manage their equipment and systems themselves including commissioning, performance testing and periodic checks.
